sushi school terms & conditions

Sushi school is currently only available at selected YO! restaurants. 

Ashford, Birmingham Grand Central, Birmingham Selfridges, Bond Street, Brighton, Bristol Cabot Circus, Bromley, Cambridge, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Cheshire Oaks, Edinburgh Princes St, Glasgow Central, Guildford, High Wycombe, Leeds Trinity, Leicester, Liverpool One, Liverpool Speke, Manchester Arndale, Manchester Trafford, Milton Keynes, Newcastle Grainger St, Norwich Nottingham, Sheffield Meadowhall, Southampton WestQuay, Swindon and Windsor.


Booking

  1. Bookings for YO! Sushi School can be made through Tonic, operated by Design My Night. Confirmation is only provided upon receipt of payment.  
  2. Booking via Design My Night (‘the booking platform’) may incur a small booking fee controlled by them. This fee is payable for the service they provide enabling bookings through their platform. 
  3. Upon booking, you will receive a booking and payment confirmation by email. Please bring them both with you to the sushi school. 
  4. YO! cannot provisionally hold spaces or accept group bookings without pre-payment. 
  5. Tickets are only valid for the date and time of class specified in ticket purchase and are not exchangeable for cash or other items.  
  6. YO! cannot offer refunds for cancellations made after 24 hours from the time of booking.  
  7. Gift cards are valid only when booked as tickets via the booking team. 
  8. Requests to reschedule must be emailed to bookings@yosushi.com at least 72 hours prior to the class date, including the reason for rescheduling and the new chosen date. YO!’s Bookings Team reserves the right to refuse rescheduling based on class availability and circumstances. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the ticket. 
  9. Rescheduling requests can only be made once.
  10. If you are unable to attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please inform us of the attendee's name in advance. 
  11. The Sushi School menu may be subject to variations due to ingredient availability. Please consult your class instructor for details. 
  12. Occasionally we may need to cancel or postpone a class due to unavoidable circumstances. In such a case we will notify all confirmed attendees as soon as possible and offer to transfer to another class or issue a full refund. 
  13. Ahead of your class, please inform us of any food allergies or intolerances. Our allergens list and policies are available here
  14. YO! processes all personal data via the booking platform. For full details please read our privacy policy. 
  15. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your class start time. Latecomers (up to 15 minutes) may be admitted at YO! Manager's discretion but will not be refunded for missed portions of the class. Entry may be refused for any arrivals after 15 minutes from the class start time. 
  16. YO! operates a no-abuse policy and will not tolerate anti-social behaviour towards our staff and you may be asked to leave if you are displaying such behaviour. No refunds or rescheduling will be offered in these circumstances. 
  17. You must be aged 16+ to book onto our Sushi School. Please do not be offended if we ask to see ID should you wish to select the alcoholic option as part of your package. 
  18. Children under the age of 16 attending Sushi School must be accompanied by an adult. The adult does not need to purchase a ticket, but we do request that you purchase food and drink during your visit. 
  19. You will acknowledge and observe our Hygiene & Safety processes. By attending a Sushi School, you accept responsibility for your own health & safety and understand that, as with other activities, there is an element of risk involved. 
  20. YO! accept no responsibility for the preparation, transportation, storage or consumption of Sushi School items once you have left the restaurant. 
  21. You will indemnify and hold us and our employees harmless from all claims, damages, liabilities and causes of action which may arise as a result of: your preparation, storage and consumption of food after your class; any loss or damage of personal property whilst in our restaurants; any injuries or damages you sustain or, or that your guest or anyone affiliated with or connected with you, may sustain in connection with or resulting directly or indirectly from your or your guests’, or affiliated or connected persons’, involvement in our Sushi School.


Gift Voucher

  1. Gift vouchers are available via our toggle shop- https://shop.yosushi.com/ 
  2. To redeem your sushi school voucher, please contact bookings@yosushi.com who will book your ticket and redeem the voucher for you. 
  3. Gift vouchers without a ticket are not valid and cannot be used in restaurants in place of a ticket. 
  4. Gift vouchers are not exchangeable for any other item, monetary value or alternative gift vouchers. 
  5. Gift vouchers are valid 12 months from purchase.
